Key Responsibilities of a Graduate Teaching Assistant:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils across different ability levels.
- Assist pupils in understanding and completing tasks set in class.
- Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and active participation.
- Help prepare classroom materials and learning resources.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
Job Requirements for a Graduate Teaching Assistant:
- A degree in any subject (Education-related preferred but not essential).
- A genuine interest in working with children and supporting their development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, positive, and adaptable attitude.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
