Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Pay: £150 – £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Secondary Teacher to work in schools across Newcastle upon Tyne. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about teaching and supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, subject-specific lessons.
  • Support students’ learning and academic progress.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of different learners.
  • Monitor and assess student performance, providing feedback and support.
  • Maintain a well-managed and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements for the Secondary Teacher role:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching within a secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
  • A passion for education and supporting young people.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach.
  • An up-to-date CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained).
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
