Job Title: Key Stage 2 Teacher
Location: Barnsley
Salary: Up to £220 per day
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Flexible / Day-to-day / Long-term
Start Date: Immediately

A range of welcoming primary schools in Barnsley are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences and support pupil progress across KS2.

About the Role:
As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will take responsibility for planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet curriculum expectations while supporting pupils’ academic and personal development. You will create a positive classroom culture that encourages curiosity, independence and progress.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging KS2 lessons in line with curriculum requirements

  • Assess, monitor and track pupil progress effectively

  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

  • Provide feedback to support pupil development and achievement

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 is desirable

  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • Ability to inspire and motivate young learners

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
