Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Barnsley
Salary: Up to £200 per day
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Flexible / Day-to-day / Long-term
Start Date: Immediately
A range of secondary schools in Barnsley are seeking dedicated and knowledgeable Maths Teachers to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

About the Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will inspire students through well-planned and engaging lessons, helping them develop strong mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills. You will play a key role in supporting academic progress while creating a classroom culture that promotes participation, confidence and achievement.
Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4

Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with curriculum requirements

Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities

Monitor progress and provide timely, constructive feedback

Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management

Support students in achieving their academic targets

Contribute positively to the wider school community
Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting
-
Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
-
Ability to engage and motivate learners of all abilities

Excellent communication and organisational skills
-
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
