Job Title: Early Career Teacher (ECT)
Location: Sheffield S5
Salary: Up to £220 per day
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Flexible / Day-to-day / Long-term
Start Date: Immediately
A number of supportive schools in Sheffield S5 are seeking enthusiastic Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are ready to begin or further develop their teaching journey across Key Stages 3 and 4.

About the Role:
As an ECT, you will deliver engaging lessons, build positive relationships with pupils and begin developing your own teaching style within a supportive setting. You will be encouraged to grow professionally while gaining valuable classroom experience across a range of subjects and year groups.
Responsibilities:

Deliver planned lessons across KS3 and KS4

Develop engaging and accessible learning activities

Support positive behaviour and classroom routines

Monitor pupil progress and contribute to assessment practices

Work closely with mentors and senior staff to develop teaching practice

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Take part in training and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending ECT qualification

Strong subject knowledge within your specialist area

Enthusiastic, reflective and eager to develop professionally

Good classroom management and communication skills

Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
