Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £220 per day
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Flexible / Day-to-day / Long-term
Start Date: Immediately

A range of secondary schools in Sheffield are seeking knowledgeable and enthusiastic Maths Teachers to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

About the Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will plan and deliver effective lessons that inspire students and help them build strong numeracy and problem-solving skills. You will create an engaging classroom environment, monitor progress and support students in reaching their academic potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with the curriculum

  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners

  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

  • Maintain positive behaviour and classroom expectations

  • Support students in developing confidence and resilience in Mathematics

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote strong outcomes

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting

  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills

  • Ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
