Job Title: Behaviour Support (Primary)
Location: Sheffield (S5)
Salary: £460 – £600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately

A welcoming primary school in Sheffield S5 is looking for a committed Behaviour Support practitioner to join their team and help make a real difference to pupils’ daily school experience.

About the Role:
As a Behaviour Support practitioner, you will work with pupils who require additional support to manage emotions, behaviour and engagement in learning. You will support across the classroom, in small groups and on a 1:1 basis, working closely with teaching staff to implement consistent strategies that help pupils remain focused and included in lessons.
Responsibilities:

Support pupils with behavioural and emotional needs in a primary setting

Work closely with teachers to implement behaviour management strategies

Provide 1:1 and small group support where required

Help maintain a calm, structured and positive classroom environment

Encourage engagement, resilience and positive social interaction

Monitor behaviour patterns and feed back to staff as needed
Requirements:
-
Experience working with children or young people is desirable
-
Understanding of behaviour support or emotional regulation needs
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Calm, patient and consistent approach in challenging situations

Genuine commitment to supporting primary-aged learners
