Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £460 – £600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately

About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with additional learning needs across the classroom and in small group or one-to-one settings. You will work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored support, helping pupils to engage with learning, build confidence and develop independence at their own pace.
Responsibilities:

Support pupils with SEN needs on a one-to-one and small group basis

Assist the class teacher in adapting learning activities and resources

Help create a calm, structured and supportive classroom environment

Encourage positive engagement, confidence and independence in learning

Support behaviour management strategies where appropriate

Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Requirements:

Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable

Understanding of SEN needs and inclusive classroom practice

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A patient, resilient and adaptable approach

A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
