Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Salary: £460 – £650 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee classes across a range of subjects, delivering pre-planned work and ensuring students remain engaged and productive. You will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning while promoting positive behaviour and supporting a focused classroom environment.
Responsibilities:

Supervise lessons during the absence of teaching staff

Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and instructions

Encourage students to remain on task and complete their work

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school expectations

Support a safe, respectful and positive learning atmosphere

Provide feedback to teachers regarding student participation and conduct
Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people is desirable

Strong communication and organisational skills

Confidence managing groups of students independently

A flexible, professional and resilient attitude

Commitment to supporting students and their educational progress
