Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £460 – £650 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain focused on the work provided and follow school expectations. You will play an important role in maintaining continuity of learning while supporting positive behaviour and student engagement throughout the school day.
Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-planned lessons to classes in the absence of teaching staff

Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies

Ensure students remain engaged and complete assigned work

Support a positive and productive learning environment

Respond appropriately to classroom situations and student needs

Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding lesson outcomes and pupil participation
Requirements:

Previous experience working with young people is desirable
-
Strong communication and classroom management skills
-
Confidence leading groups of students independently

A calm, adaptable and professional approach

A genuine interest in supporting students and education
