Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Salary: £460 – £650 per week

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of teaching staff and ensure pupils remain focused on their learning. You will manage classroom behaviour, support student engagement and help maintain a productive learning environment across a range of subjects. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals considering a future career in teaching or those with experience working with young people.
Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-set work to classes in the absence of the class teacher

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Ensure students remain on task and engaged throughout lessons

Provide support and guidance where appropriate

Report on pupil participation and behaviour to teaching staff

Help create a positive and purposeful learning environment
Requirements:

Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable

Strong communication and classroom management skills

Confidence leading groups of students independently

A professional, adaptable and resilient approach

A genuine interest in education and student development
