Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: £85.44 per day

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a supportive school environment, helping students with special educational needs thrive academically and personally. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners.

Key Responsibilities of SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide tailored support to students with SEN on a one-to-one or small group basis.
  • Assist with the delivery of lessons and adapt activities to meet individual learning needs.
  • Support pupils’ emotional well-being and behaviour management.
  • Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement effective support strategies.
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress where necessary.

Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs.
  • Understanding of SEN strategies and inclusive education practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A calm, patient, and supportive attitude.
  • A genuine passion for helping children succeed.
