Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)
Location: Poole
Salary: £85.44 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time/Part-Time, Long Term/Day-to-Day

GSL Education are currently looking for a dedicated SEN TA to join a welcoming and inclusive school setting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and fostering a positive, nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities of SEN TA:
- Support students with a range of special educational needs on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
- Assist teachers in adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
- Help students develop key life and social skills.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff.
- Contribute to a safe and supportive classroom environment.
Requirements for SEN TA:
- Experience working with SEN students or in a similar educational support role.
- Understanding of additional needs such as ASD, SEMH, or speech and language challenges.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- A patient, flexible, and proactive attitude.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
