Your Role as an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Provide tailored support to students with SEN on a one-to-one or small-group basis.
- Assist in adapting classroom activities to suit different learning abilities.
- Encourage students to engage, participate, and achieve their full potential.
- Support emotional, behavioural, and social development.
- Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to deliver personalised learning plans.
- Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
What You’ll Need:
- Previous experience working with children or individuals with SEN is desirable.
- A calm, caring, and resilient nature.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A proactive and flexible attitude.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
