GSL Education London Branch is seeking a passionate and experienced Geography Teacher to join a thriving girls' secondary school and sixth form in Tower Hamlets. Responsibilities of the Geography Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective Geography lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Inspire students to develop a passion for Geography and global issues.
- Monitor, assess, and track student progress to ensure positive outcomes.
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and enhance the Geography curriculum.
- Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and parents' evenings.
Requirements for the Geography Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Previous experience working as a Geography Teacher in a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge across the Geography curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
- Commitment to raising achievement and promoting student success.
- A positive, professional, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
