Geography Teacher – Exciting Opportunity in Tower Hamlets

GSL Education London Branch is seeking a passionate and experienced Geography Teacher to join a thriving girls' secondary school and sixth form in Tower Hamlets. Responsibilities of the Geography Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective Geography lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Inspire students to develop a passion for Geography and global issues.
  • Monitor, assess, and track student progress to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and enhance the Geography curriculum.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and parents' evenings.

Requirements for the Geography Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Previous experience working as a Geography Teacher in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge across the Geography curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to raising achievement and promoting student success.
  • A positive, professional, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
