GSL Education are delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Fareham, who are seeking to appoint a passionate and motivated Food Technology Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a school at a pivotal stage in its journey, with plans to move into a brand-new site in September 2027 featuring state-of-the-art facilities and excellent long-term progression opportunities for staff.

The Role:
- Deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Inspire students to develop creativity, confidence and a passion for food and nutrition
- Plan and deliver lessons that challenge and support learners of all abilities
- Contribute to a collaborative and supportive department
- Create a positive classroom environment that promotes excellent behaviour and engagement
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) ideally
- OR has previous experience teaching Food Technology within a school setting
- Passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Committed to supporting students both academically and personally
- Eager to contribute to the wider school community
