About the Role
As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. You will play a key role in supporting both the academic and personal development of your pupils, encouraging curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary age range
- Create a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners
- Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
- Promote positive behaviour and classroom expectations
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
- Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Previous experience teaching within a primary school setting
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to teaching
- Passion for supporting children's learning and development
- Team Teach training is a plus and would be highly advantageous
- Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
- Reliable, professional, and committed to achieving positive outcomes for pupils
