Inspire Change – SEMH Teacher Required in Sheffield!
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a committed and skilled SEMH Teacher to join a supportive school in Sheffield.

This role is perfect for an educator who is passionate about supporting pupils with SEMH needs and managing challenging behaviours through a nurturing approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons
  • Create a safe and trauma-informed classroom environment
  • Implement behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with students
  • Track progress and adapt teaching accordingly

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with SEMH or SEND pupils
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practices
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
