Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £460 – £650 per week (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time
GSL Education is currently seeking a passionate and energetic Sports Coach to join a welcoming and forward-thinking school in Rotherham. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young people, promote healthy lifestyles, and support pupils’ personal development through sport and physical activity.
Your Role as a Sports Coach
- Deliver engaging, inclusive, and high-energy sports sessions across a variety of activities.
- Support PE lessons and help run extracurricular clubs and school sports events.
- Encourage student participation, teamwork, and confidence in physical activity.
- Assist with behaviour management, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.
- Provide support for pupils of all abilities, including those with additional learning needs.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in sports coaching or working with children/young people.
- A genuine passion for physical education and promoting active lifestyles.
- Strong communication, leadership, and motivational skills.
- Relevant coaching qualifications (desirable but not essential).
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
