Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teachers to work in schools across Doncaster.
This rewarding role involves delivering high-quality mathematics lessons across secondary key stages 3, 4 and 5, supporting students to develop their problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical skills. The successful candidate will create a positive and structured learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential in Mathematics.
Responsibilities of a Maths Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Teach Mathematics across relevant key stages 3, 4 and 5
- Support students according to the curriculum and syllabus
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress in Maths
- Create a positive and structured classroom environment
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote active learning
- Prepare lesson plans, resources, and assessments
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school staff
Requirements of a Maths Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related subject
- Previous experience teaching Maths in schools is desirable
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Passion for teaching and improving student outcomes in Maths
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
