Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £460 – £650 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are currently recruiting reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in schools across Doncaster.
This rewarding role involves supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring students remain engaged with their learning and complete set work in a structured and positive environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning while supporting positive behaviour across the classroom.
Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:
- Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher
- Deliver pre-set work and ensure students remain on task
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Support students with their learning where required
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment
- Follow safeguarding and school procedures at all times
- Work collaboratively with school staff and support teams
Requirements of a Cover Supervisor:
- Previous experience working with young people is desirable
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Confident, proactive, and adaptable approach
- Ability to engage and motivate students
- Degree or relevant school-based experience is advantageous
- Passion for education and supporting student development
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
