Job Title: Behaviour Support
Location: Cleveland
Salary: £95 – £115 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking dedicated Behaviour Support to join welcoming school across Cleveland. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on students’ behaviour, wellbeing, and academic progress.

Key Responsibilities of Behaviour Support:

  • Provide targeted support to pupils with behavioural challenges, both in and out of the classroom.
  • Help implement behaviour support plans and positive reinforcement strategies.
  • Build trusting relationships to support pupils’ emotional and social development.
  • Assist teachers and pastoral teams in maintaining a calm and supportive learning environment.
  • Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and self-confidence.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience supporting children or young people with behavioural needs (education, care, or community settings).
  • A patient, understanding, and consistent approach to supporting behaviour.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
