Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Worksop
Salary: £460 – £650 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise whole classes during teacher absence, ensuring students remain on task with pre-set work. You will maintain a calm and structured classroom environment and support continuity of learning across the school day.
Responsibilities:

Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher

Deliver and explain pre-set work to students

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Maintain a calm, structured and productive learning environment

Support student engagement and focus during lessons

Report any concerns to relevant staff where necessary

Follow safeguarding and school procedures at all times
Requirements:

Previous experience working with young people is desirable

Strong behaviour management and communication skills

Confident, professional and proactive approach
-
Ability to engage and manage groups of students effectively

Good organisational skills and reliability
-
Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom settings
