Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £460 – £650 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise whole classes during teacher absence, ensuring students remain on task with pre-set work. You will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning and supporting positive behaviour across the classroom.
Responsibilities:

Supervise classes during teacher absence

Deliver pre-set work and ensure pupils remain on task

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Maintain a calm, structured and focused learning environment

Support student engagement and participation in learning activities

Report any concerns or issues to relevant staff

Follow school safeguarding and behaviour procedures
Requirements:

Previous experience working with young people is desirable

Strong behaviour management and communication skills

Confident, professional and proactive approach

Ability to engage and manage groups of students effectively

Good organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom settings
