A range of secondary schools in Sheffield are seeking passionate and skilled Music Teachers to deliver engaging and creative lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

About the Role:
As a Music Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons that develop students’ performance, composition and listening skills. You will create engaging learning experiences that encourage participation and musical exploration, while maintaining a focused and positive classroom environment. This role suits teachers who are enthusiastic about music education and enjoy working across different school settings.
Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging Music lessons across KS3 and KS4

Teach both practical and theoretical aspects of the curriculum

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Encourage student participation in performance and creative work

Adapt lessons to meet a range of learning needs and abilities

Support pupil progress and development in Music

Maintain a safe, structured and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching Music in secondary school settings
-
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
-
Creative, confident and adaptable teaching approach
-
Ability to inspire and engage students in Music

Reliable and professional attitude
