Job Title: Music Teacher

Salary: Up to £220 per day

A range of secondary schools in Sheffield are seeking passionate and skilled Music Teachers to deliver engaging and creative lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Schools across Sheffield are looking for dedicated Music Teachers who can inspire students through both practical and theoretical music education. About the Role:
As a Music Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons that develop students’ performance, composition and listening skills. You will create engaging learning experiences that encourage participation and musical exploration, while maintaining a focused and positive classroom environment. This role suits teachers who are enthusiastic about music education and enjoy working across different school settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging Music lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Teach both practical and theoretical aspects of the curriculum

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Encourage student participation in performance and creative work

  • Adapt lessons to meet a range of learning needs and abilities

  • Support pupil progress and development in Music

  • Maintain a safe, structured and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Music in secondary school settings

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Creative, confident and adaptable teaching approach

  • Ability to inspire and engage students in Music

  • Reliable and professional attitude
