Salary: Up to £200 per day

A selection of secondary schools in Barnsley are seeking creative and enthusiastic Music Teachers to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

About the Role:
As a Music Teacher, you will deliver engaging curriculum-based music lessons, support students in developing performance and composition skills, and maintain a positive and focused classroom environment. This role is ideal for teachers who are passionate about music education and enjoy bringing creativity into the classroom.
Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging Music lessons across KS3 and KS4

Teach both practical and theoretical elements of the subject

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Encourage student participation in performance and creative tasks

Adapt lessons to meet a range of learning needs

Support student progress and development in music

Maintain a safe and structured learning environment
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable)

Experience teaching Music in secondary school settings

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
-
Confident, creative and adaptable approach

Ability to engage and inspire students in music

Reliable and professional attitude
