Job Title: Key Stage 2 Teacher
Location: Barnsley
Salary: Up to £200 per day
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Flexible / Day-to-day / Long-term
Start Date: Immediately

About the Role:
As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons, support pupil progress, and maintain a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes learning and development. This role is ideal for teachers who are passionate about helping pupils prepare for the transition into secondary education while adapting confidently to different school settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 2

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Differentiate lessons to support a range of learning abilities

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Assess and monitor pupil progress where required

  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents

  • Maintain safeguarding and wellbeing standards at all times

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching within primary school settings

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Confident, adaptable and professional approach

  • Ability to deliver engaging and creative lessons

  • Reliable and consistent availability
