Job Title: General Primary Teacher
Location: Rotherham
Salary: Up to £200 per day
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Flexible / Day-to-day / Long-term

A variety of welcoming primary schools in Rotherham are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable General Primary Teachers to deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

About the Role:
As a General Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering creative and engaging lessons, managing classroom behaviour effectively, and supporting pupils across a range of abilities and year groups. This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety, flexibility and making a meaningful impact within different school communities.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2

  • Create a positive and structured classroom environment

  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Assess and monitor pupil progress where required

  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents

  • Maintain safeguarding and wellbeing standards at all times

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience working within primary school settings

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Flexible, reliable and professional attitude

  • Ability to adapt confidently to different year groups and schools

  • Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
