Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on Experience)

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Computer Studies Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Sheffield. As a Computer Studies Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons across ICT and Computer Science, helping students develop essential digital skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong understanding of technology. Responsibilities of Computer Studies Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging Computer Studies lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, following the school’s curriculum.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that supports student progress and achievement.
- Teach a range of topics including programming, digital literacy, and computer systems.
- Assess student work, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies to maintain a safe and productive environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to departmental development and activities.
- Participate in meetings, training sessions, and wider school events as required.
Key Requirements for Computer Studies Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in ICT and Computer Science.
- Previous teaching experience within UK secondary schools is desirable.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
- A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL.
