Job Title: Maths Teacher

Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Maths Teacher to work in supportive and inclusive schools across Sheffield. As a Maths Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging lessons, building students’ confidence in mathematics, and supporting their academic progress in a positive learning environment.
Maths Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality maths lessons tailored to a range of abilities.
- Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
- Differentiate learning activities to meet individual student needs.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to enhance student outcomes.
To be a Maths Teacher, what you should have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (preferred).
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics education.
- Effective classroom management and organisational skills.
- A proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic teaching approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
