Job Title: Design and Technology Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

Are you a creative and dedicated Design and Technology Teacher looking to inspire the next generation of innovators?
GSL Education are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher to work in supportive and forward-thinking schools across Sheffield.
As a Design and Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical lessons that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills, helping students reach their full academic potential in a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities of a Design and Technology Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons across a range of abilities.
- Support students in developing practical skills using a variety of tools, materials, and technologies.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of pupils.
- Monitor, assess, and track student progress effectively.
- Maintain a safe and well-organised workshop/classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to enhance student learning outcomes.
Design and Technology Teacher Skills & Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Design and Technology in a school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for practical and creative learning.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A proactive, organised, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
