Salary: £95 – £115 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently recruiting enthusiastic and driven Graduate Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Newcastle upon Tyne. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering a future career in teaching, psychology, SEN support, or youth work.
About the Role:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils achieve their full potential. You will provide classroom support, assist with learning activities, and work with students on both a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with classroom learning and daily activities
- Provide targeted 1:1 and small group intervention support
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
- Encourage student confidence, engagement, and participation
- Support pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times
Candidate Requirements:
- A degree in any subject area
- Passion for education and supporting young people
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive, adaptable, and proactive attitude
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
- Reliable and flexible approach to work
