Job Title: Behaviour Support
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £460 – £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time/Part-Time, Long Term/Day-to-Day

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a motivated and resilient Behaviour Support staff member to join a welcoming and supportive school environment. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping students overcome behavioural barriers to learning and thrive both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities of Behaviour Support:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with behavioural needs.
- Implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.
- Support students in developing social, emotional, and behavioural skills.
- Build positive relationships with students to promote engagement and confidence.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to support student progress.
- Assist with de-escalation strategies and maintain a calm, safe learning environment.
Requirements for Behaviour Support:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with behavioural or additional needs.
- Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies.
- Patient, resilient, and adaptable approach to supporting students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
