Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £460 – £600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately

About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support to access the curriculum. You will assist in both classroom-based learning and targeted interventions, helping pupils build confidence, develop key skills and engage positively with their education.
Responsibilities:

Support pupils with SEN across KS3 and KS4 in classroom and intervention settings

Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual needs

Assist teachers in adapting lessons and learning materials

Support pupils with engagement, communication and behaviour in lessons

Help maintain a calm, structured and inclusive learning environment

Work closely with teachers and SENCO to support pupil progress
Requirements:
-
Experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable
-
Understanding of additional needs such as ASD, ADHD or learning difficulties is beneficial

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Patient, calm and resilient approach

Ability to work effectively as part of a supportive school team

A genuine commitment to supporting pupils with additional needs in education
