Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Tunbridge Wells
Salary: £103 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
GSL Education are seeking reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in welcoming and supportive schools in Tunbridge Wells. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience or pursue a career in teaching.

Key Responsibilities of Cover Supervisor:
- Supervise classes during the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain on task with set work.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policies.
- Provide guidance and support to students where needed, ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials across a range of subjects.
- Report back to teaching staff on student engagement and progress.
Requirements for Cover Supervisor:
- Previous experience working with young people (e.g., school, tutoring, coaching, youth work) is desirable.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- Confidence in leading a classroom and engaging students.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to working in different school settings.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
