Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £460 – £650 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately
Are you confident managing a classroom and motivating students to stay engaged in their learning? A welcoming secondary school in Doncaster is seeking a dependable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to support pupils across a variety of subjects.

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-planned lessons during teacher absences and ensure students remain focused and on task throughout the school day. You will play an important role in maintaining a calm and productive classroom environment while supporting students with their learning and behaviour.
Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-set lessons across different subject areas

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Support students in completing work and staying engaged in lessons

Provide a structured and positive learning environment

Respond confidently to classroom situations and student needs

Report back to teaching staff on lesson progress and pupil behaviour
Requirements:

Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable

Strong communication and classroom management skills
-
A confident, adaptable and proactive attitude

Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

Good organisational and problem-solving abilities
-
A genuine interest in education and supporting young people
