Pay: £95 – £115 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant to work in schools across Northumberland. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education and enjoys supporting children of varying abilities both inside and outside the classroom.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in helping students achieve their full potential by supporting teachers and providing tailored assistance to pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons
- Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning
- Assist students with additional needs or learning difficulties
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Support classroom management and behaviour strategies
- Prepare learning materials and classroom resources
Requirements for the Teaching Assistant role:
- Experience working in a school or educational setting preferred
- A genuine passion for working with children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Patient, adaptable, and proactive approach to supporting students
- An up-to-date CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained)
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
