Job Title: EAL Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time/Part-Time, Long Term/Day-to-day

GSL Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed EAL (English as an Additional Language) Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive school environment. This role is ideal for someone who is dedicated to supporting students from diverse linguistic backgrounds, helping them develop confidence and proficiency in English to succeed across the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities of an EAL Teacher:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging EAL lessons tailored to students’ language needs.
- Support students in developing their English speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Adapt teaching strategies and materials to meet the needs of learners at varying language levels.
- Work closely with classroom teachers to support EAL students across different subjects.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote development.
- Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that celebrates diversity.
Requirements for an EAL Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching EAL students in a school setting.
- Strong understanding of language acquisition and effective EAL strategies.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
