Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £460 – £600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately

About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and SEN teams to support pupils with a range of additional needs, both in and out of the classroom. You will help deliver personalised support, encourage engagement in learning, and promote positive behaviour and independence throughout the school day.
Responsibilities:

Support pupils with special educational needs in classroom and small group settings

Deliver tailored support based on individual learning plans

Assist teachers in adapting learning materials and activities

Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning

Provide consistent emotional and academic support

Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment

Monitor and report on pupil progress and development
Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people is desirable

Understanding of SEN needs or willingness to develop knowledge

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Patient, calm and empathetic approach

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Commitment to supporting inclusive education
