Job Title: General Primary Teacher
Location: Rotherham
Salary: Up to £220 per day
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Flexible / Day-to-day / Long-term
Start Date: Immediately

A number of primary schools across Rotherham are seeking dedicated and adaptable General Primary Teachers to deliver high-quality teaching across KS1 and KS2.

About the Role:
As a General Primary Teacher, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across a range of primary year groups, supporting pupils of varying abilities. You will be responsible for creating a positive classroom environment, delivering planned learning, and ensuring pupils remain engaged and motivated throughout the school day.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2

  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners

  • Maintain a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment

  • Assess and monitor pupil progress

  • Support pupils’ academic and personal development

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Work collaboratively with support staff and colleagues

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching in primary school settings

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons

  • Flexible, reliable and professional approach

  • Commitment to supporting pupil progress and wellbeing
