A number of secondary schools in Worksop are seeking passionate and committed English Teachers to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ reading, writing and analytical skills across KS3 and KS4. You will assess progress, support individual learning needs, and contribute to a positive and inspiring classroom experience that encourages a love of English.
Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4

Assess, track and report on student progress

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Support students to develop reading, writing and analytical skills

Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities

Create an engaging and supportive classroom environment

Contribute to departmental planning and school initiatives
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable)

Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Passion for English language and literature
-
Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities

Professional, adaptable and reliable approach
