Job Title: Behaviour Support (Secondary)
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £460 – £600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day
Start Date: Immediately

About the Role:
As part of the Behaviour Support team, you will work closely with students who require additional behavioural and emotional support throughout the school day. You will help pupils remain engaged in lessons, encourage positive behaviour and support them in developing confidence, resilience and social skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for secondary-aged students

  • Support pupils in managing behaviour and remaining focused during lessons

  • Build positive relationships that encourage engagement and progress

  • Work alongside teaching staff to maintain a calm and structured environment

  • Promote positive behaviour strategies across the school setting

  • Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with staff where required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable

  • Experience supporting behaviour management within a secondary setting is beneficial

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • A calm, patient and resilient approach

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • A genuine passion for supporting young people and education
