Job Title: Primary Behaviour Support
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £460 – £600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day

Are you passionate about supporting children in their early educational journey and helping them develop positive behaviour and confidence in the classroom? A welcoming primary school in Sheffield is seeking a dedicated Primary Behaviour Support professional to join their supportive team.

About the Role:
As part of the Primary Behaviour Support team, you will work closely with pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support throughout the school day. You will help children stay engaged in learning, develop social skills and build confidence while supporting teachers in maintaining a calm and structured classroom environment.
Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small group behavioural support for primary-aged pupils

Build positive and supportive relationships with children

Support pupils in managing emotions and behaviour within the classroom

Encourage engagement, participation and positive learning habits

Assist teachers in promoting a focused and inclusive learning environment

Monitor pupil progress and communicate updates with school staff where appropriate
Requirements:
-
Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
-
Experience supporting behaviour management within a primary setting is beneficial

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
A calm, patient and nurturing approach

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

A genuine passion for supporting children and education
