Job Title: Sports Coach
Location: Worksop
Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time 

GSL Education are currently looking for enthusiastic individuals with a background in sports, coaching, or fitness to support schools across Worksop.

Although the role carries the title Sports Coach, the work is primarily based in school environments. You will be supporting students in lessons, helping to manage behaviour, and contributing to a positive and structured learning atmosphere throughout the school day.

This is a strong opportunity for people who are confident leading groups and want to use their skills to support young people in education.

Sports Coach - About the Role:

You will work alongside teaching staff to support pupils across a range of subjects and year groups. The role involves assisting in lessons, supervising students, and helping to ensure a calm and productive classroom environment.

Your experience in sport or coaching will help you connect with students, encourage participation, and promote positive behaviour.

Key Duties of Sports Coach:

  • Support learning activities in the classroom
  • Supervise pupils and ensure focus is maintained
  • Assist with behaviour management in line with school policies
  • Motivate and engage students using coaching techniques
  • Work with individuals and small groups who need additional support
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the school day

What We’re Looking for from Sports Coach:

  • Background in sports coaching, fitness, youth work, or similar
  • Confidence working with young people in group settings
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Professional, reliable, and adaptable approach
  • Genuine interest in working within education
