Job Title: Behaviour Support
Location: Sheffield
Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you a resilient and compassionate Behaviour Support professional who is passionate about helping students overcome barriers to learning?
Schools in Sheffield and GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support member to provide tailored support to pupils with behavioural and emotional needs.
In this role, you will work closely with students who may require additional guidance to remain engaged in learning and manage their behaviour positively. You will help create a calm, structured, and supportive environment where pupils feel encouraged to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group behaviour support.
- Support pupils with emotional regulation and classroom engagement.
- Implement behaviour strategies and intervention plans.
- Assist teachers in maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
Requirements of Behaviour Support:
- Previous experience in behaviour support or similar roles.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- A calm, patient, and consistent approach.
- Ability to manage challenging situations professionally.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
