Salary: £460 – £600 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term / Day-to-day

About the Role:
As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will work closely with students who require additional behavioural and emotional support throughout the school day. You will help pupils remain engaged in lessons, support positive behaviour strategies, and assist teaching staff in maintaining a calm and focused learning environment.
Responsibilities:

Support students with behavioural, emotional and social needs

Work alongside teaching staff to promote positive behaviour in the classroom

Provide one-to-one and small group support where required

Help students remain engaged and focused during lessons

Support de-escalation strategies and behaviour management approaches

Build positive and professional relationships with students and staff

Monitor and report on student progress and wellbeing
Requirements:

Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable

Strong behaviour management and communication skills

Calm, patient and resilient approach
-
Ability to build positive relationships and maintain professional boundaries

Flexible and proactive attitude
-
Genuine interest in supporting student development and wellbeing
