Looking for a Maths Teacher in Sheffield!

Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £220 per day
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, Flexible / Day-to-day / Long-term
Start Date: Immediately

A number of secondary schools across Sheffield are seeking knowledgeable and motivated Maths Teachers to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

About the Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver well-planned lessons that support students in developing confidence and understanding in mathematics. You will be responsible for managing classroom behaviour, tracking pupil progress, and creating a positive learning environment where students can achieve their potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet varying student needs

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Support students in developing confidence and problem-solving skills

  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback

  • Maintain a positive and focused learning environment

  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and department teams

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Maths in secondary school settings

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Confident and adaptable teaching approach

  • Good communication and organisational skills

  • Commitment to supporting student achievement and wellbeing
