Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Salary: £460 – £650 per week

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absence, ensuring students remain focused on the work provided. You will play a key role in maintaining behaviour standards, supporting student engagement, and keeping lessons running smoothly across different subjects and year groups.
Responsibilities:

Supervise whole classes in the absence of the class teacher

Ensure students remain on task with set work

Manage behaviour in line with school policies

Provide clear instructions to support student understanding

Report any concerns or incidents to relevant staff

Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people is desirable

Strong communication and classroom management skills

Confident, calm and adaptable approach

Ability to work across different subjects and year groups

A genuine interest in supporting education and student progress
