Salary: £460 – £650 per week

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff. You will ensure that students remain on task with the work set, manage behaviour effectively, and maintain a calm and productive classroom environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people and can confidently lead a group in a school setting.
Responsibilities:

Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher

Ensure students remain engaged with the work provided

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Support students with understanding instructions and tasks

Report any issues or concerns to relevant staff

Maintain a safe and focused learning environment
Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people is desirable

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Confident, calm and professional approach in a classroom setting

Ability to adapt quickly to different subjects and year groups

A genuine interest in supporting education and student progress
